I am a certified crisis worker in the Texas Panhandle. A coworker alerted the hotline to the events of 9/11/01. We watched the tv and kept up with the internet news for information. Our hotline as well as others throughout the country were quiet. I wondered how my child's school was alerting them of what was happening in our country.

Everybody's life has changed since 9/11/01. People are a little bit more nicer and more patriotic.

Those who lost their lives need to be remembered as well as those public officials all over the world who helped with the efforts and continue to help others in their communities.

The American flag is rspected in our home and we put it out on the holidays. After 9/11/01, we kept our flag up for awhile. We continue to wear patriotic clothing throughout the year.
