NMAH Story: Story
At first I did not know what had happened. I walked into my English class second period and the TV was on. The news broadcast was shocking. They showed replays of the planes hitting the buildings. You could see people jumping out of the buildings because there was no other way to escape. Most of my teachers left their TVs on for the next several days. I will never forget the fellings of shock, sadness, and anger that I felt.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Fortunately, no one I knew was in New York at the time this happened, but September 11 has changed my life. I appreciate fire fighters, police men, and any one who has gone to war for the United States a lot more. I have more respect for the flag, the Pledge, and most of all I'm closer to God.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think everything about September 11th should be remembered. It was a tragic day that no one should ever forget. I know it will be in my heart forever.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, my family and I flew a flag after the tragic events of September 11th. Yes, my feelings toward the American flag have changed tremendously. My dance studio did a number with an American theme. My dance teacher always says to dance with emotions. This was easy because I feel so many emotions about September 11th.
