NMAH Story: Story

I witnessed september 11th in school. I was walking through the hall and saw the scenes from CNN on the t.vs in our lunch room. The rest of that day we were left wondering what happened; why to us; who was hurt. The rest of the day we just watched the scenes on t.v.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

I believe September 11th has changed how I see people. I am more nervous going places; it seems that people are out to get us somehow. But it has changed my outlook on the military since the day I have realized that the place for me is in the Air Force. I plan to serve our country and try to make a difference.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I think America and our allies should remember how brave our firefighters and our police officers were. They went in the buildings not knowing what was going to result from the planes.
I also think we should remember what kind of impact it made on our nation. Everyone was more patriotic then I had ever seen; I don't think we should just be patriotic on 9-11, I think we should keep these thoughts in mind and go with it for our lifetime; not just one day.

NMAH Story: Flag

I didn't fly a flag at my house, but I did put a sticker on my car to remember the day.
My feelings towards the flag have changed. Before 9-11 I thought it was cool that we had one and we were able to honor it. But now I realize alot more of what it symbolizes. Today: 9-12-02 on the way to school I realized just how much it reminds me of: I was driving in from the country and when I saw the first half staff flag it made me cry, I was angry at what they had done to us. I believe the flag shows how strong we are.
