NMAH Story: Story
We were in school when the planes hit and none of the teachers would tell us exactly what had happened. We were all scared because we had only knowledge that something had happened at the Pentagon and the World Trade Center. When I got home, I watched the news and saw the planes strike the Twin Towers. My mom had been home and was saying that she couldn't get a hold of my dad because the phone lines were tied up. My aunt from Texas called to ask if we were alright and my grandparents from West Virginia did the same. I was in disbelieve as I was watching the news reports.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Everyone's life has changed. Security is tighter everywhere you go and we are in war as we speak. I didn't lose anyone, thank goodness, so my life didn't change in that respect, but I do feel for those who lost loved ones.
If you go to the airport now, you have to go through a lot more checkpoints and the entire nation seems to be a little biased.

NMAH Story: Remembered
I think that we should remember all of those who lost their life, not knowing what happened or what hit them. Also, the firefighters and policemen and other officals who lost their lives trying to save others. We should also remember that this nation needs to stick together and be as patriotic as we were the 2 weeks following the attacks.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, we went out and got one as soon as we could find a place that still had some in stock. I never had bad feelings about the American flag. We certainly see it representing things in a different way then before our nation was attacked.
