NMAH Story: Story

I coach high school football. I had just finished watching game film with my players when someone came out of the training room and said a plane hit the world trade center. I went to the coaches' office and turned on the news. The second plane had already hit and both buildings were burning. I told someone then that it looked like one of the buildings was leaning. We then heard that a plane crashed in Washington. It seamed like the entire country was under attack. The bell rang and I went to second period and turned on the tv. My class sat in silence as the first building came down. Soon after, we watched the second fall and the rest of the day we were glued to our televisions.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

I don't trust people in this country of Arab descent. I feel like any of them could be tied to terrorists. Prior to 9/11, the people who knew the hijackers would have told you they never thought they were terrorist. Today, they could be anywhere.

NMAH Story: Remembered

That instead of tearing our country apart, the terrorists brought our country closer together.

NMAH Story: Flag

Yes, I flew the flag every day for the next year. We moved and now I only fly it on holidays.
