I heard bits and pieces of information regarding the attacks but did not realize, or have any idea what was really going on until 10:30 am, my 4th pd class. My 3rd pd teacher was one of the few who refused to turn on the television.

While I think everyones life has somehow been affected my Sept. 11, I cannot say my life has been greatly affected. I do however now get the feeling that history is constantly being written and that we all have yet to see the full affects of 9/11 and the forces that shaped it.

I think 9/11 was when America truly came togehter as a nation for that brief moment in time, when it didnt matter whether you were black,white,red or yellow, rich or poor, you were simply American and you loved your fellow American.

The American flag is a symbol, the symbol of our nation. I think that it should be honored but we must remember it is the symbol of freedom that it stands for that must be protected, not the cloth itself.
