I'm still here, and I'm OK. I keep trying to call but every phone line is shot. The North Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed a few minutes ago. I didn't see that one either, and I'm glad, because those here who did are suffering from the sight. Our building has been locked down, but I'll still be able to get out. Do me a favor and stay way from any strategic targets today, OK?
The city feels now like it is at war. I've never experienced anything like this. Sirens everywhere, the streets are grid locked, confusion reigning over any order. Reports now are that the State Department in Washington has been hit, and a hijacked DC police aircraft is heading toward Washington.
War. I'm OK, though, and please keep your head low. I'll be home as soon as I can, count on it.
