Just don't really know what to say. Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you and your family and friends at this truly awful time. We cannot believe it here in the UK and we are all outraged at what has happened. As the time wears on the realisation of the awfulness of it is
hitting home. Now the stories have a more human element with pictures of the victims and recordings of their last words on answer phones.
I hope that you and your loved ones and friends are all ok and are safe. We in the UK are all subdued and very upset by all of this and all our flags here are at half mast. We played the US National Anthem at the Changing of the Guard this morning and tomorrow there will be a Europe-wide day of
mourning for all those who died and a 3 minute silence at 11am.
Know you probably don't feel much like writing back but just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Much love.
