911DA Story: Story

SEPTEMBER 11-2001

When I frist heard the news of what had hapened, it was my frist time going back to the Middle School. I was meeting my teacher. When I got to my science class, my hostory teacher ran into the room and told us that two planes had hit the twwin towers. I had no idea about what they were talking about. Iwaslost because I had no idea what the Pentagon and the Twin Towers were.

At that time, all the students were outside for bus evacuation. All the teacher came into the science room and turned on the t.v just to see what was going on in New York City. I was still cleuless abot the whole thing. The teachers tried to make the day go by as it usually would, but we all knew that something was wrong. Finally, school was over and I could not wait to gohome and watch the news.

When I got home, my parents were already there, and they are usually not home before me, so I was shocked this looked like it was a something really important. My parents, my sister, and I sat on the couch in the family room and watched the news. As we were watching the news, mydad turned to my mother, my sister and I and said," God what is this world coming to"? That's the question that I have for you today. What is the world comeing to?

Since September 11,2001, I can say that my life has changed in a way I never thought it would. Before 9-11-01 I would always say that America was one of the safest places to live. I always thought that nothing bad would ever happen here, but i ques we were all wrong. Now, I'm scared to go on a plane. I am alo frightened to go out to the big cities, especially if I have to go insidebig buildings. Hopefully, as the time goes on, I will feel as safe as I used to.

I think it is very important that the innocent lives that were taken should never be forgotten . I also thing the the families of the innocent people should also always be remembered.
