Frustrated by their inability to help with the recovery efforts immediately after the attacks of September 11, Suka Design of New York turned to what they could contribute -- designing a poster. They created a graphic tribute that was distributed to firehouses, police precincts, Red Cross stations, and other locations throughout the city, as well as around the globe.
The message contained in the words is both moving and appropriate. Both elements, design and content, work together to make a dynamic graphic statement.
