I was sitting in my family room with my three children, ages 4, 1 and 4 months. First I thought it was an accident, but when I saw Tower two hit I knew that it was not. I began to cry and my oldest son asked me why I was crying and why did this happen. I had know answers for him. I was so sad for the victims, their families the fire fighters and the police officers. I felt grateful that my children and family were safe. My husband is a police officer and was at work. I called him immediately to see how he was. We were very scared.

Now a year later, I sit with my three children and my oldest son who is now five, asks me, "Why did this happen," "Why would someone do this if they knew they would hurt others and that they would die?" I still have no answers for him.
