9/11 Victim's fund

Mr. Kenneth Feinberg,

$1.6 Million and the families of the victims are complaining? How many of
the people who died earned over $100K per year? Nothing can compensate a
person for the death of a loved one, I know. My father died at age 42 and
the VA rated it a "Service Related" Death - My Mom does receive some benefits
but no where near the $1.6 Mil. being offered to these families, perhaps the
life of a 22 year veteran of the United States Navy is worth less to them
than the civilians who perished - And if the 9/11 victim families get the
$1.6 Mil, what about the families of the service men and woman who are dying
Overseas to fight Terrorism? what do they get? I am sorry for their loss
but I really think my Tax dollars should be used for the nation, not a few
thousand family members claiming they are owed. Did none of them have life
insurance? I would really like to be able to look into the face of these
greedy people who have the nerve to ask for more, I think they should get
less - If they get $750,000.00 that would be more than enough, invested
competently the amount would double in 7 years if left alone, if not, the
income generated by this principal amount would more than provide for the
families and allow them to live a life style the are hoping to become
accustomed to.

Shame on them for asking more - our hearts go out to them, but we the people
are not out of our minds - $1.6 Mil per family - my goodness did they think
they just hit the lotto?
