Gay partners of lost loved ones
I have no relation to the losses on 9/11, but strongly believe that it is not
right that gay and lesbian partners are not being treated equally to all
other surviving families of those lost on 9/11. My life partner and I have
been together for more than 7 years, and I just gave birth to our twins. We
live and love like any other couple in most respects, and should be treated
as such, not according to ridiculous local and state laws.
