Dear Sir:

I am a normal, law abiding, middle aged woman. If your statement about not doctoring the image is true then you captured in a split second the face of evil. We live in a world of Yin and Yang, dark and light, good and evil - every mythology from the most primitive to the most sophisticated has embraced this concept. Never before did we have the where-with-all to capture it on tape or high speed film - you have provided the "mug shot." This does not freighten me, it enlightens me - for as the ghost disappears when you shine a flashlight on it in the dark, so evil exposed is rendered impotent when it is captured and displayed as you have.

If you have in any way "enhanced" this picture or video then you should be ashamed of yourself - but if we take you at your word, then you were chosen to do mankind a great service in showing that for every action (in this case, evil), there is an equal (the photo), and opposite reaction (the great outpouring of compassion). It is simple physics.

I am sure this has been very unnerving for you, there are sometimes great mysteries which we must simply accept without question. Accept this as some blessing rather than a curse and go forth and do good to all you encounter in this life. Try to remember the Buddha said, "Make of yourself a light." You captured the negative energy of that horrible moment in a split second, now you can go on to enlighten the world at your leisure. God Bless and Keep You.

Sincerely,
Peyton Parker-Williams
