Benefits for families of gays & lesbians

To the Director:
The word is out that program benefits will be reduced or denied the
spouses/families of gay and lesbian victims of the September 11th
attacks. It's important that you rethink that decision and embrace ALL
of the Americans who lost their lives that day. Please extend full
compensation to their same gender spouses and families. They are every
bit as affected emotionally and financially as the families of every
other victim--and most are probably even American citizens and tax
payers. If you can extend your generosity to illegal aliens, surely you
should take care of all of our citizens who need your help.
