Dear Mr. Zwick:
As you develop the rules by which the funds provided in the Air Transportation
Safety and System Stabilization Act, please make sure that funds are made
available to non-traditional families and partners of those affected by the
events of September 11. This would include assistance to the life partners,
children and/or parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and
heterosexual people, who have suffered emotional and financial loss or hardship.
Sexual orientation or marital status should not be used to exclude people who
are in need.
