To whom it may concern:

I strongly urge you to extend compensation to the gay and lesbian partners of
those who died on September 11. It is absolutely inexcusable to exclude them
from the benefits which are due them. If there is a legal barrier to this,
then that legal barrier needs to be removed, as it has been in the case of
illegal aliens.
