DOJ,
While I sympathize with the families of victims of 9/11, what makes these families any different than families of victims of any other terror. If my wife was terrorized and killed (rape/murder), I don't see tax payer dollars forthcoming for our kids. Why should 9/11 victim's families receive such funds?
If the money is paid, it should be paid evenly to all families minus insurance or other aid. No one family is entitled to more or less because of their status, station in life or lost earning power.
