9/11 Fund and Anti-Gay Discrimination
I contributed to the fund, willingly, because I felt it was a small role
that I could play in trying to heal the hearts or souls of people whose
lives had been irrevocably changed. Had I known that the US Government
would use this money to deny benefits to ANYBODY, I would not have sent it.
At a time of such horror, it is unthinkable that bigotry would override
trying to help those in need.
