i was in class (geography) about to go to lunch when the teacher turned on the television. i was right in front of the t.v i saw alot of smoke and i just sat there frozen. then the announcer came on and said what was going on and i gasped. i was 11 years old. and i was seeing something that was making grown men cry and all i could do was sit there.

i remember my best friend saying " we're all going to die."

the events of september 11 have shown me that the worst of times often bring out the best in people.
