9/11 Fund discrimination of Gays and Lesbians
To Whom It May Concern; I am shocked and appalled that the fund created by Congress is openly discriminating against the partners of gay and lesbian heroes in the events of September 11, 2001. This is about as un-American as you can get. Haven't they learned by now that this way of thinking is about as un-American as you can get? Am I supposed to be heterosexual in order to show my patriotism and love of my country? This is such a slap in the face and I as a proud and openly gay American find it completely reprehensible and unacceptable that Congress even overlooks federal laws so that even illegal aliens are entitled to the same benefits as heterosexuals. Wake up and smell the coffee, folks...Patriotism is not definable by race, religion, or sexual orientation!
