unfair benefit distribution
Attachment 1:
I am outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those
who died on September 11 are not automatically going to
receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses. I cannot imagine that the people who donated to the fund intended that gay and lesbian victims receive lesser
benefits than heterosexual victims. Please make sure that EVERYONE receives the compensation. It is not our fault that this country does not recognize gay
marriages.
