Re: 9/11 Victim Compensation

To Whom It may Concern:

I want to express my concern about the way the federal government and the various charities
distribute
the funds. I want to bring one case to your attention.

The live-in girlfriend of 6 months, &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
, of &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp employee and victim, Mr.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
, obtained an incredible amount of compensation from &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp and various charities in excess of 100,000. In addition, her exorbitant rent of almost 2,000 per month is being paid by a charity since September 2001. Her parents, &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
and &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
, currently residing in&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
, North Carolina, helped and supported her action in obtaining that money.

I oppose this kind of distribution because the donated money should only go to family members and children of 9/11 victims. While many actual victims did not receive proper compensation, the above surely demonstrates that there is more investigation warranted before distributing any funds to so called "9/11 Victims".
