9/11 benefits
I was ashamed to be called an American when I learned
that gay partners of the heroes of September 11th will
not necessarily be eligible for the same compensation
as heterosexual family members who lost their loved
ones! An even greater insult is the fact that the
government is willing to make payments to illegal
aliens! People that overtly breaking the law!! With
the great strides this country has made in eliminating
discrimination, it seems it still has a long way to
go!
