So why am I not a full citizen entitled to the same benefits and considerations as my heterosexual counter part? My son who is now 15 years old, KNOWS our family is just as important as the one next door and down the block.

So tell me, why is the government so hung up on how law abiding United States citizens arrange their lives? Remember, our country was founded on the idea of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", our freedom was fiercely won not so long ago.
