Dear Sir,

I would like to address the subject of noneconomic loss for the 911 Victim's
Compensation Fund. My husband, &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp , was killed in the World Trade Center.

I have four children, one is still a dependant. I realize that this child is the only one who
would be included in the economic loss portion of the settlement. However, my sons who are 24,
25, and 27 years old are certainly affected by loss and suffering. Their father is no longer here to
love them, support them, and assist them with advice and physical help as they enter a part of
their lives where they are establishing their own homes. In many ways, they are suffering more
and are more aware of their loss than the younger children of the victims.

My 24 year old son witnessed the attack. He was on the phone with his father after the
plane hit. He saw the building collapse with his father inside. He now suffers the physical and
mental aftereffects of that experience. I strongly feel that he is entitled to compensation for this
pain and suffering in witnessing this terrible act of terrorism which claimed his father's life, and
has changed his life forever.

Please reconsider eliminating children who are no longer dependents from the
noneconomic loss portion of the settlement. Thank you for your consideration.
