911DA Story: Story
It was 9:33 and I walked into my third hour Creative Cuisine class in Hickman High School. My teacher had the radio on which was very unlike her. I was one of the first into the room and as my other classmates walked into the room, who also had no idea what was going on, they asked what was going on. My teacher began to explain that a plane had flown into one of the Twin Towers. I didn't think anything of it at the time. "Planes crash, I thought, "One just happened to hit the tower." I didn't really understand what was going on. Then she said that nobody knew why it hit or anything but then another one hit. Nobody really knew what was going on but they thought it was a terrist attack. It was all very shocking and I had never experienced anything like it before so I didn't really understand what was going on. My teacher could tell that none of us really understood what was going on and I realized how serious it was when my teacher said, "This is history guys," and said that it was worse than Pearl Harbor. After that I got really interested in what was going on and knew how serious it was. All I would watch on was the news on the attacks, untill they went back to regualr programing.
