911DA Story: Story
My name is Lance Brown. My wife Dora and I were at the dentist when we heard over the radio that a plane had hit one of the two towers of the World Trade Center. At first, we thought it was a small plane. When we found out the size of the plane we assumed it was some sort of horrible accident. When the second plane hit, we knew something was up. Then we heard about the other planes and we knew we were looking at a wartime situation. The day was worsened when we made it home and started to follow the coverage on television. We were extremely saddened and angry. As time has gone on I have greatly appreciated the rememberances and ceremonies for those who died and the heroes of the day. Maybe I am just old school( I was 30 when the attacks happened), but I believe one major area has been overlooked. That area is the need for true revenge. I am not a believer in political correctness. This is about defending our country against a real threat and honoring those who were killed on that day. We need to catch every Al-Qaeda member, interrogate them, and then kill them. No trials or lawyers, just raise the red flag (which means no quarter; no prisoners taken). They murdered too many of our people needlessly to just put them in jail.
Sincerely, Lance Brown, One Proud American!
