911DA Story: Story

My roommate came in and woke me up at 8:52 am, he looked really freaked out, he said that a plane flew in the World Trade Center. I thouhgt he was joking or I was having a bad dream, I rolled over to go back to sleep. I heard him in the living room, I got up and turned my tv on and there it was. It was like a movie. Everything was in slow motion that day, my brother called me to get out of Stamford-it is a pretty big city with US Warbugh and Swiss Bank here. I eventually did get into my car and go to Milford CT, 45 miles North of Stamford, the roads were eerily quiet. I got to my mothers and we just watched in horror. I moved to Florida 4 days later and I could not wait to go. I was so scared, I still am. I have recently moved back to CT and I feel at home. September 11, 2002 was a very somber day, a day of looking back at where I was physically and emotionally. What a difference a year makes. I am still sad and cry when I think of that day one year ago, but I feel stronger now then I did them, this has made me stronger. I have so much love and respect for everyone who persished that day, inside and outside the towers, thay can never be forgotten. I will never forget-EVER-we all must never forget. My heart is with all of those who lost someone that day and to the entire country, we will prevail.
