LC Story: Story
I was in my dorm room, at college. I had just gotten out of class and I was waiting around until my next one started. I didn't have a TV in the room - my roommate and I had decided not to get one. The girl across the hall walked in and started talking about it. I thought it was a movie or something at first, I mean, I didn't think that it could be real. I ended up going over to her room to watch.
LC Story: Memory
I have two. The first is when I received the news. The second was seeing the second (south?) tower collapse, while watching the news of the event.
LC Story: Affects
I think it shocked the nation into realizing that we're not as invulnerable as we think. This attack was here, in a well-known place, early in the day. The sites that were hit - the Twin Towers, the Pentagon - were not just buildings that only a few people were aware of prior to the event. These buildings were more than just buildings. They were symbols.
