911DA Story: Story

i was home watching the newscast when they had announced about new york and the twin towers, i saw the film how they were demolished and how the planes were driven right into them, number one tower first and then number two tower next. i was angered and tore apart because i had lived and worked in new york and considered new york as my home. i felt like a piece of my home had been ripped and tore out of my heart, the families-the police officers- the fireman, everyone who sacrificed their lives for everyone to tried to save them as best as they could.we can never have our twin towers back and replaceing them would never help any because they were a land mark for everyone especially for visitors and for the community who resided there, for me it was a sacred landmark for me to look up to like the statue of liberty, it will never be the same with all the termoil and stress, and sadness. i had cried for a whole month last year when it happened, and to this day a year later i am still affected by this happening.i have said it before and i"ll say it again, united we all stand, we will never fall, god bless america always. to the families, fireman, policeman, my heart goes all out to you, i wish i could be there but i can"t, i have a roommate who just went into the hospital a day before this day in serious condition yesterday, who is a retired air force military man who served his country for us. be proud americans for i am for everyone.i am originally from pennsylvania born and raised, and no one can take that away from me, but i love new york and always will because that is my second home.with that my love goes out to all of new york. respectfully joann,cocloudy@aol.com
