911DA Story: Story
Q1.How did you witness history on Septenber 11th? Share your experience.
I saw it on T.V. Generally we work at home and keep the news on all the time and we saw the second plane crash into the tower live.
Q2.Has your life changed because of September 11th, 2001? If so, tell us how.
At first, I was very concerned. I thought I needed to do something to fight back. And I thought I might have to give my life in some battle or fight in order to preserve our way of life for future generations. I had never had to serve in the military and risk my life for my country, but I thought maybe my time had come, although late in life. In reality, a year later, life has not changed much at all.
Q3.What do you think should be remembered about September 11th?
Evil should always be fought, and your guard should never be let down.
Q4.Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th?
No, I didn't fly a flag. Although, I was stirred to see how many did. I prefer to keep my emotions inside but I did feel extremely patriotic.
