My name is Shauna and I am a special education teacher in Chicago. I remember walking down the hall at work and another teacher was coming towards me telling me a plane hit one of the towers. At first I thought it was a small plane or the wing of a plane had just tapped it. As I came closer to the science office, the department chair was telling teachers exactly what had happened. I had a prep period at that momment, so I walked along with a few teachers down to the security office were there was a t.v. As we entered the security office, the second tower was hit. At that moment, everything stopped for me. I could not believe my eyes. No one moved. A few minutes later the bell rung and I went to my next class. Appromixately fifteen minutes later, the principal came on over the loud speaker and told school what had happened. We then had a moment of silence in rememberance of the people who had lost their lives in this tragedy. I will never, ever forget.
