When I walked into 2nd Period on September 11 a tv was on and the horrific pictures of what was going on in New York were on it. Our teacher Mrs. Tyler was trying to tell us what was happening but it wasn't to easy because the people were talking in spanish. My classmates went on the internet and went to the cnn website and found out what was really happening. My teacher and my classmates were watching tv while it was all happning. At one point the principal came in and told us to turn the tv off because we shouldn't have to see what was happening. When he left the teacher turned it back on not caring what he said, she wanted to know what was going on. Some people kids looked like they were going to cry. When we told our next period teacher about it, her jaw drooped She was really upset. The rst of that day everyone walked around really upset and worried about whether something was going to happen nearby, since we lived right next to Chicago. Alot of parents took out their kids from school incase of bomb threats or just to have them safe at home.My mom took me out in 5th peroid, and the next day when I asked my teachers to give me the work I missed they said not to worry about they wont count it. It took a few days to get back to the usual routine at school. Everyone was still worried that the Sears Tower was next, but I knew that would not happen because the government would not let that happen. That day was stuck in my head for a long time, when it was finally out, the anniversary came up and its been stuck in my head for a month since the attacks.
