911DA Story: Story

I awoke with the ringing of the phone. It was my daughter-in-law telling me to turn on the television. She is an airline attendant for American Airlines. As we watched in horror together, we both reliezed that could have been her flight. At first it seemed as though it was an accident, then when the second plane hit, we both reliezed it was a hijacking. I stood in amazement, shaking, and thanking God that Cynthia was not on any of the planes. All I could do was cry and pray for those that were killed for no reason.
From that day foward, no matter how bad we think our day is, we need to remember those and thier families. We as Americans have learned to pull together in a time of crisis, and know that we must become a stronger nation from this. We also need to know that all those lost on that day are now with the Lord. All that is left behind is saddness for the us still on earth. To all those who lost someone to that tragic day, remember, no one can take away the love or memories that you hold in your heart. My prayers go out to all of you each night since that day one year ago. We as Americans will previl.
