911DA Story: Story

I would like to dedicate the following poem to the two friends I lost on September 11, 2001.

Richard Caproni of Lynbrook NY
Mike Hannon of Lynbrook NY

You Can't take my America Away

There was a jealous coward that showed up at
our door. We fed him,We taught him
But still he wanted more
He saw our freedom, our children, our future
and life
We let him see what he could be
Without war, stress and strife
Like a soul in love starved poverty
In a jealous rage he stole from us
Our loved ones, our planes and property
We want justice for his evil
This wicked invisible flea
We mourn, we love, we're better
Than the jealous coward will ever be
Let this be a lesson-About the sin of
jealousy. You seek to demolish-That which
you know, you could never be
We've shown you a better place
Where love and freedom rule the day; Make no
mistake- You can't take my America away!
