Tanveer and Shehzad, two Pakistani brothers, sustained grave injuries after their neighbor, Mr. OBrien, a young Irish-American man, beat them with a baseball bat. According to family and neighbor sources, police have filed charges against OBrian, who fled the scene of the crime.

Tanveer and Shehzad live next to an Irish-American family, Tony, his wife, and his brother-in-law, OBrien. The two brothers found OBriens car parked in their space and put a note on his windshield. They found OBriens car still in the parking space when they returned from the airport, where they had met their father, who was visiting from Pakistan.

When they rang Tonys bell, OBrien came out with a baseball bat and started beating them without provocation, said family and neighborhood sources. Another neighbor, Shehzad Querishi, took the two brothers and their father, who has a heart condition and fainted, to a hospital, and called the police. One brother is fighting for his life, said the sources.
