I was sitting in the lobby of a busy office building. I was giving a co-worker a break, when the phone rang. It was my mother, she said" The trade center and other important buildings are under attack." I was shocked about the events and all I thought was the world is going to end and I am going to be at work. I am an Emergency Services Officer, so I was extermly concerned with all the events and also worried about my wife and twins at home. I called my wife and told her to turn on the TV. She was shocked and was left speechless. I told her that I love her and the twins and if she heard anything to contact me at work. The whole next weeks flew by. I cried when I thought of all that were killed and even more so about FDNY. My wife and I along with my Fire Department toured FDNY a few years back. FDNY personal treated us great. I also work in the Fire service so I was a wreck about all of those brave men and women who lost their lives doing what they loved. That is one thing about Firefighters they love there job. I my self am a second greneration Firefighter. I am the first EMT in my family. So all in all I Feel for all of those whom lost their loved ones and I pray that this great contry will never endoure a horriable encounter as this one.GOD bless us all.
