Dear Media Committee:

     Thanks for your help publicizing this resolution!

     Here's a possible correction to the text you may have included in a
press release.  I just pulled the text off the Common Council agenda for
11/20 (on the city web site
http://www.ci.madison.wi.us/council/ccattach/att112001/30696.pdf), and
realized that the call to stop the bombing was somehow excised from the
version formally submitted by the alders to the city (note in first "BE IT
FURTHER RESOLVED THAT" clause, the text about "defering to the judgement of
international aid agencies that a cessation in the bombing is necessary..."
was deleted).  Brief pause for a moment of profound disappointment.

      OK, we still have a very important resolution.

      I just wanted to let you know about the correct text.

      I will be printing 400 quarter sheets for tomorrow with the alder
contact info (Thanks, Lori!).  See you at the Parade!
