911DA Story: Story
I remember about how September 11 began like any old boring school day day. Then there came an announcement that the world Trade Center in New York city had been struck by a plane. All the sudden there was talk about war. But then came the announcement that stated that teachers should turn off their Televisions and continue lessons. This outraged me because this was certainly history in the making and I was missing it for review of stuff I?ve known for years.
It was startling; I guess, when it happened. Anything that get teachers to turn on their Televisions happens seldom or not at all. It was not untill I returned home that I got the full story: that a second plane went into the trade center, and the Pentagon had been hit too, all while I was rotting on my seat while this was really happening. At my house we constantly watched news and updates. But all that is now past. We are at war, we will not give up, we will always remember 9-11.
