911DA Story: Story

The attacks occured on a Tuesday which is one of my days off from school (University of Baltimore)so I was sleeping in. As I was sleeping my mother came down and woke me and said "I think I sould tell you what has happened this morning". At that time the first plane had already hit one of the towers. I went upstairs to the kitchen to watch the TV and saw smoke pouring out of the tower. I counld not believe my eyes. My first reaction was that this must have been an accident. It seemed as though it was something right out of Hollywood. However, as a pilot of small planes myself, I realized that there is no way that this could be an accident. It was a clear day, and it was not a prescribed air traffic pattern. In other words, no plane would have been anywhere near those towers. It was at that moment that the second plane hit the other tower. I could not believe my eyes. This had to be a nightmare. I was glued to the TV for the remainder of the day and a short while later I heard that another plane had crashed into the Pentagon. I, like the rest of America, had no idea what was going on. I felt a tremendous amount of anger as the day wore on and suspicion turned to Osama Bin Ladan. I wanted revenge. For the remainder of the day I thought of nothing else and founds it hard to do anything else. This was the case for roughly two weeks. It was such a shock to my system. I could not believe that such an attack had occured on our own soil.
