Chelsea Piers was used as a makeshift hospital. These were all volunteer doctors, nurses, and paramedics. While everyone was prepared for serious injuries to arrive, unfortunately none would.

This is the very bronze statue that was inpired by and home to the OK City bombing - Murray Building, which was sent to NYC and placed outside a midtown Fire Dept.

Reagan National Airport was totally empty on 9.18.01. I caught this image through a fence - it seemed eery and an appropriate visual metaphor for the airport.
