The following is a transcript of the Sonic Memorial phone message at 877-894-8500: "Thanks for calling the Sonic Memorial phone line. This is Jay Allison. Lost & Found Sound and the Sonic Memorial team are continuing to gather stories and sounds of the World Trade Center and its neighborhood, before, during, and after September 11. We're looking for audio artifacts, both personal and historic. Please tell us about your audio memory or the sounds you have and we'll assume we can use your recordings online at sonicmemorial.org, on the air, and grant permission for others to use it. Leave your name, address, phone, and email. You'll have four minutes to talk. You can call back more than once. We appreciate your help in documenting this time, these places and people. Thanks."

There are eleven audio recordings in this collection. Each recording is a voice message left by individuals telling a story or playing a sound that relates to the events on September 11, 2001.
