This collection is a brief recording made by our telephone answering machine on the morning of 9/11. Our son was walking to work at 67 Wall Street and called his mother to find out what was happening. The answering machine started before the call was answered and continued through the first couple of minutes of the conversation.

The call takes place between the first and second crash.
