Mark Fiore is a political cartoonist based in San Francisco whose animated work has appeared on media sites such as the San Francisco Chronicle's sfgate.com, Salon.com, Villagevoice.com and Motherjones.com. With a background in print political cartoons, Fiore made the jump to the animated world two years ago. The Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and the Online News Association recently presented Mark Fiore with an Online Journalism Award for his work. This collection contains his animations addressing the September 11 attacks and their aftermath.
