I, LIKE MANY OTHERS, AM THINKING, THAT A PLANE HAS GONE OFF COURSE, LIKE THE ONE HAD THAT HIT THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING MANY YEARS AGO. BUT AS I'M READY TO WALK OUT THE DOOR, I HEAR THAT ANOTHER PLANE HAS HIT THE SECOND TOWER. NOW I KNOW, AS EVERYONE ELSE DOES THAT IT IS AN ATTACK ON OUR COUNTRY. I CALL WORK & CONFIRM THAT I WOULD BE A LITTLE LATE SIMCE THEY WERE STARTING TO CLOSE ALL ENTRANCES TO & FROM NYC. I GET TO WORK TO GREET A BUILDING FULL OF SOMBER ,CRYING FACES AS THEY PROCEED TO TELL ME THAT THE FIRST TOWER HAS COME DOWN, WITHIN A FEW MINUTES, WE HEAR THAT THE SECOND TOWER HAS COME DOWN. IT WAS LIKE A DREAM, THAT YOU COULD NOT WAKE UP FROM. I AM OF IRISH DESCENT & I HAVE MANY FRIENDS WHO BELONG TO POLICE & FIRE DEPTS. AS WELL AS BAGPIPE UNITS. I KNEW THEN & THERE LIFE WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. I KNOW OF MANY PEOPLE WHO LOST FRIENDS & FAMILY, IN & NEAR MY TOWN. OUR COMPANY LET US OUT EARLY, BUT WITH ALL THE CHAOS & POLICE ACTION IT TOOK ME 2 HOURS TO DRIVE HOME ONLY SIX MILES.I STILL FEEL THE PAIN & HATRED FOR THE GARBAGE RESPONSBILE FOR THIS ACT, & FEEL THE LOSS OF OF THE FIREFIGHTERS WHO WALKED INTO THE GATES OF HELL TO HELP OTHERS. I CAN ALSO PICTURE IN MY MIND THOSE POOR PEOPLE HAVING TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO BURN TO DEATH OR JUMP 100 STORIES TO THEIR DEATH. WE MUST NEVER FORGET & INSTEAD OF TRYING TO KILL SADAAM HUSSEIN, WE SOULD CONCENTRATE ON THE SAUDIS, WHO ARE THE REAL MURDERERS OF OUR PEOPLE. TELL THEM TO KEEP THEIR OIL. WE MUST RETALIATE & RID THE WORLD OF THE SO CALLED "ROYAL FAMILY" SEND THEM BACK TO 75 YEARS AGO WHEN ALL THEY HAD WERE CAMALS & SAND.
