Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I will never forget the day of September 11, 2001 where firemen and many other people risked their lives to save others. Many people died that day of pure innocence. Tons are no longer with us because of one man named Osama bin Laden. This day of 9/11 has affected a lot of people of this generation. It has affected me because this attack was so sudden and unexpected. But as many, I remember it clearly. It was our fourth day of school and we were in third period when the loudspeaker came on. ?At approximately half past eight this morning, two hijacked plans crashed into the World Trade Center.? Throughout all of Pennfield Middle School, there was complete silence. Everyone was shocked that someone would actually do something that terrible! About ten to fifteen minutes later, the loudspeaker came on again. ?The Twin Towers are no longer standing.? There were minds, including mine, thinking, ?Could we possibly be next?? Later that day I went home early because of the attacks. When we were home, my mom was glued to the TV. I just sat there still in shock mode. All I wandered that day was one- could this happen again? And the second thing I thought about was- who would have a sick enough mind to do such a thing? And I think that people all over the country asked that question. Since this tragedy has occurred, I defiantly think that America has changed since 9/11! I think this because some people say, ?history repeats itself?. And by saying this, I think that they scare others. Also some people (I have noticed) are more careful about what they do. For example, if you look around at festivals or some kind of party, people are somewhat more respectful to others than they used to be. But, on the other hand, some people think that it is just time to move on and forget about the past.
