911DA Story: Story

It was just another normal day, I woke up, took a shower ate breakfast, and was off to school. I remember talking to my friends before school started and having a good time. When the bell rang I went to class. When I walked in, the television was on and they were talking about something dealing with the World Trade Centers. I just blew it off and sat down. Then I remember this girl named Dallas coming up to me and said, "The World Trade Centers got bombed" I was like, "What's the World Trade Centers?" Soon after, the principal told the teachers to turn off their tv's, so I didn't really know much about it. All I knew was that some terroists blew up some buildings. Which wasn't even what really happened.
That day, I was supposed to go to my friends house after school to work on our dance for drill prep. Since I didn't really know much about what happened and neither did my friend, we decided to work on our dance any ways. So I went to her house and when we got there her mom had the tv on. We started watching it and finally saw what really happened. I was so upset that I called my mom to pick me up. When I got home I immediatly turned on the tv and started to watch. It made me feel so sad that so many people lost their lives. They showed horrible things, like people jumping out of buildings. Then they showed people in Afghanistan laughing and celebrating for what the terroists did. I was so angry that I wanted them to pay for what they did.
Now I think about it and I still feel sad, but then I think about how everyone put aside their difference and came together as a country.
