I was at home watching "Good Morning America" while I was ironing. They interrupted the program with flash news about the first plane that hit the World Trade Center. Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes, my life has changed. I am more scared to be around crowded areas. I am more suspicious of people, and afraid of traveling far distances in planes. Now, I appreciate my life more and do not take things for granted. What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? The people that died, and the families that lost their loved ones. We must remember the fire fighters who died trying to save others. We should remember how the Americans were unified and stand together. Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, we did fly an American flag. It is on our front door. Our feeling have changed. Now we are very proud to be Americans. Now the flag has a special meaning. It means freedom, solidarity. I have much more respect for all the people who fought for our freedom that we now enjoy.
