911DA Story: Story

On Spetember 11, 2001 I had just graduated basic training four days earlier. I wasn't sure of what I wanted to do with my career but on the 11th I knew that my purpose was clear. I have now served in two tours of Operation Enduring Freedom and I'm currently in my first tour of Iraqi Freedom. Anytime I begin to doubt my purpose or loose sight of why I am deployed, I watch clips of that horrible day. No matter how many times I watch it it always brings a tear to my eye. I just want to say thank you for the support of my country and for the support of the coalition forces that I work side by side with everyday in order ot make our country a safer place.
